About Us

The Practice was launched in 2017 to provide financial planning advice to professional families.

My aim is to provide a safe space, free of judgment, for individuals to explore and discuss their finances. I meet with clients annually, sometimes a few times, to review their financial plans to ensure they are on track and making progress towards their goals (this is the accountability bit). I love using cash flow modeling with clients as I find that it really deepens conversations and allows clients to visualise their financial futures.

I use a coaching approach with clients and try to create an environment for them to carve out time to think. Part of the value of financial planning is to act as a thinking Partner with clients to enable them to consider what is most important to them. We are all so busy in our lives that often we don’t spend much time giving this much thought. My focus is on making it all as simple and effective as possible as people often find it a perplexing and dry area!

Clients often come to me following a life event, like breakdown of a relationship, birth of a child, embarking on a new career, getting married, planning for retirement, death of a loved one and those contemplating their financial legacy. These events often serve as the instigator for them to want to take stock of where they are and assess their options. Or sometimes they have just reached a point in their lives where they feel that it’s time to get things in order.
